The instructors, check pilots, and officers who lead TRARON's training mission.
Leadership
Leads the training squadron and sets its overall direction — oversees the clinic calendar, the check pilot corps, and TRARON training standards, and represents the squadron to FAST and CAF leadership.
Second in command and the squadron’s administrative backbone — supports the Lead, coordinates officer assignments, and steps in to run TRARON when the Lead is unavailable.
Plans and runs formation clinics and events — schedules aircraft and sorties, builds the flight briefs, pairs pilots with instructors, and keeps operations on time and on plan.
Owns the squadron safety program — leads safety briefings, reviews incidents and near-misses, and ensures every clinic and sortie meets FAST and CAF safety standards.
Maintains the squadron’s records and membership roster — administers certifications, recommendations, and checkrides, tracks dues, and keeps the TRARON systems and data accurate.
